bloomin' heck I've won something

I discovered this morning my entry to the Account Planning School of the Web Assignment 7 has won. I'm giddy as a lamb over it. This comes in long line of advertising industry successes for me including high points such as coming top in an agency Christmas party fancy dress competition and being awarded first prize for my hard-hitting charity ad "Paddington Bear is helping others, why don't you?" when I was 8 years old. So, as you can imagine, this win is a fabulous thing for me. I really appreciate Russell and Grant's efforts in setting this up, it was great fun to do and has put me in touch with some great people, including my fellow contestants whose ideas and style still have me green with jealously.

But enough of that, back to me. Or rather me and you. Please do leave a comment, and especially if there's something that interests you or you want to know more about (concerning China that is, no tricky questions about why the sky is blue or the meaning of life please). It'd be good to know what you think.

Ace. Well done. I loved the wit you brought to a great critique. They should get badges printed out / or blog badges [like modern day blue peter...] as 'prizes' ;-)

re: china. I'd love to see how google is playing out over there... and get a sense for how open chinese people are [vis a vis say the UK] to trying / trialing new brands and products esp around technology / digital. I get the impression - from what i read of asian markets generally - that they're faster paced, more open and fragmented...?

i see what you mean said...

thanks James but I think we know I won on points, i just had the highest sea-based pun score. And absolutely right about technology and asian markets. I should have posted something about that already really. consider it done.
